You are visiting the web site of SHINGAKAI (Shinga Fine Art Club), doing its activities in Iwaki, Fukushima, JAPAN. Shinga literally means “Pictures in Heart”. 

It is an organization of people who love to paint a picture and appreciatie fine arts.

We are all non-professional painters, loving to paint for pleasure.

The club members get together mainly at Iwaki Center of Culture twice a month to enjoy painting and drawing a still-life including flowers, and sometimes going outside for sketching a landscape.

Exhibition is held every year at Iwaki Center of Cultures. All members submit their paintings and drawings. It is really fun to see the various paintings and drawings displayed in an exhibition room. Please take a look at our pictures.

Our belief is to enjoy painting and drawing, more importantly to enjoy our lives through the painting activities, and communications among the club members.
